Kommunen hjelper flyktninger som blir bosatt i Sel med:

• Informasjon om livet i Norge
• Hjelp til å finne bolig
• Kontakt med skole, barnehage og helsetjenester
• Oppfølging i etableringsfasen
• Veiledning om arbeid og utdanning

Norskopplæring og introduksjonsprogram

Mange nyankomne flyktninger får tilbud om introduksjonsprogram.

Programmet kan inneholde:

• Norskopplæring
• Samfunnskunnskap
• Karriereveiledning
• Arbeidspraksis
• Livsmestringskurs
• Veiledning mot jobb eller utdanning

Deltakere i introduksjonsprogrammet mottar økonomisk støtte (introduksjonsstønad).

Norwegian Language Training and Introduction Programme

Many newly arrived refugees are offered an Introduction Programme.

The programme may include:

• Norwegian language classes
• Information about Norwegian society
• Career guidance
• Work practice
• Life skills courses
• Guidance towards work or education

People who take part in the Introduction Programme receive financial support (introduction benefit).
